AIX安装过程,基本来说,还是比较简单的.只要装过一遍,基本上就可以明白他的过程.其实光看资料还是没什么用，那叫纸上谈兵.不过该谈的时候也得谈,真正在装机的时候,总的有个参照物.效果会好些.

AIX 5L安装说明文档
一．设置boot引导顺序：（工作站/服务器）
●对于服务器而言
1．对于服务器而言，当打开机器开关，听到第一声蜂鸣声后，按1键（服务器）；
2．进入设置系统内核界面，系统缺省为32位的内核，确认；
3．进入boot引导顺序界面，按6键，选中“Multiboot”选项，确认；
4．按3键，选中“CD-ROM”选项，确认，完成设置，并按x键依次退出。
●对于工作站而言：
1．当打开机器开关，听到第一声蜂鸣声后，按F1键（工作站），进入图形界面；
2．进入“System Management Services”界面，用鼠标选中“Multiboot”选项；
3．选中界面中的“Boot Sequence”选项后，出现图1所示的界面；

4．将光标移至“SCSI CD-ROM id=@1,0 (Integrated)”项前的“--”处，键入“1”，使boot引导从CD-ROM开始。设置完毕后用鼠标选中“Save”保存，然后依次选中“Exit”退出。

二．安装AIX5L
1．插入安装盘1；
2．按照屏幕提示，按F1键，确认，设置系统控制台的语言环境为英语环境；
3．按照屏幕提示，按1键，确认，设置系统安装过程的语言环境为英语环境，进入基本*作系统的安装和维护界面，见图2；

4．在光标处键入“2”, 确认，选中“Change/show Installation Settings and Install”选项，进入安装和设置界面，见图3；

为了修改图3中选项“System Settings”下的内容，在光标处键入“1”，确认。
首先出现的是“Change Method of Installation”界面，由于系统进行的全安装，因此在光标处键入“1”，确认，选中“New and Complete Overwrite”选项。
之后出现“Change Disk Where You Want to Install”见面，此处不需修改，在光标处确认，回到图3所示的界面。此时“Method of Installation”项的属性已变为“New and Complete Overwrite”。在光标处直接确认，完成安装设置。
5．系统自动进行安装。

三．图形化配置
安装完毕后，系统自动进入图形化配置界面“Configuration Assistant”,配置过程大部分为缺省的选项，只需对以下几项进行配置：
1．配置时区；
在“Set or Verify Date and Time”界面下，将时区设置为“Coordinated Universal Time(CUT)”；
2．设置超级用户的密码；
在“Set Password for Administrative (Root) User”界面下，选中“Yes ,set the password now”选项，并输入Root用户的密码：********；
3．设置交换区大小；
在“Manage System Storage and Paging Space”界面下，设置交换区的大小（一般为内存的2倍），“New paging space (MB):”;
4．配置TCP/IP；
在“Configure TCP/IP Task Guide”界面下，输入主机名，并赋予IP地址，子网掩码。
图形化配置的大致流程如下：
Accept→Next→Next→配置时区，并按下Next→Next→设置超级用户的密码，并按下Next→Next→设置交换区大小，并按下Next→Next→配置TCP/IP，并按下Next→Next→Next→Next→Next→跳过对“Webserver”和“Online Document”的设置，选中“Exit Configuration Assistant”，并按下Next→Finish（完成）。
四．安装软件包
1．在“#”提示符下，键入“smitty”，确认，进入系统管理界面，见图4；

3．将光标移至第一项“Install and Update Software”处，确认，进入软件安装和升级界面，见图6；

4．将光标移至第一项“Install Software”处，确认，进入软件安装界面，见图7；

按F4键，则在屏幕的右下脚将出现图8所示的窗口。

将光标移至第一项“/dev/cd0 (16 Bit SCSI Multimedia CD-ROM Drive)”处，选中。
5．回到图9所示的“Install Software”界面中，此时软件安装的缺省选择是全部安装。

6．按下F4键，选择所需的软件进行安装。由于软件的种类繁多，可根据屏幕的提示，按“/”键查找所需的软件，并按“F7”键选中。
所需安装的软件有：bos.acct bos.adt bos.content_list bos.data bos.net bos.perf perfagent.tools ifor_ls.base
当所有需要安装的软件均备选中后确认，并再次按确认，进行安装。
（安装过程中需要换入盘2，再换回盘1。）
五．安装软件集束
1．在“#”提示符下，键入“smitty”，确认，进入系统管理界面，见图4；
2．将光标移至第一项“Software Installation and Maintenance”处，确认，进入软件安装和维护界面，见图5；
3．将光标移至第一项“Install and Update Software”处，确认，进入软件安装界面，见图6；
4．将光标移至“Install Software Bundle”处，确认，进入软件集束安装界面(同图7)；

5．按F4键，选中“/dev/cd0 (16 Bit SCSI Multimedia CD-ROM Drive)”，从光驱进行安装；
6．在“Select a Files Bundle”界面下，选中第一项“App-Dev”，确认，开始安装。
（安装过程中需要换入盘2和盘3。）
六．设置与语言环境
1．在“#”提示符下，键入“smitty”，确认，进入系统管理界面，见图4；
2．将光标移至“System Environment”处，确认，进入系统界面环境；
3．将光标移至“Manage Language Environment”处，确认，进入更改语言环境界面；
4．将光标移至“Change/Show Primary Language Environment”, 确认;
5．将光标移至“Change/Show Cultural Convention,Language,or Keyboard”处，确认。

6．修改图10中的前三项，按F4键，选择适当的中文环境进行安装。
对于这三项，系统选择安装的语言环境均为：IBM-encCN Chinse(Simplifield EUC)[zh_CN]
由于语言环境的种类繁多，可根据屏幕的提示，按“/”健查找所需的语言环境。
7．设置完毕后，，系统开始安装语言。
七．设系统环境变量
在图4所示的主菜单中选中System Environment:
在弹出主菜单中选Change/Show Characteristic Of Operating System，再在弹出的菜单中填:
Maxium Number Of Process Allowed Per User [1280]
Continuously Maintain Disk I/O history [true]
High Water Mark For Pending Write I/O Per Files [33]
Low Water Mark For Pending Write I/O per Files [22]
填完后确认，再以F3退回上一层菜单，选“Change /Show Number Of Licensed Users”，再在弹出菜单中填：
Maxium Number Of Fixed Licenses [20]
八．修改文件系统：
在图4所示的主菜单中选中System Storage Management Physical&Logical Storage ,再在弹出菜单选File System，接着在弹出菜单中选择Add/Chang/Show/Delete Journaled File Systems,接着在弹出菜单中选择Journaled File Systems,在弹出菜单中选Add A Journald File System，在弹出菜单中选Add A Large File Enabled Journaled File System，在弹出的Volume Group Name对话框中选中rootvg
在弹出窗口中填Size Of File System(in 512-byte blocks) [20,000,000](根据实际情况填)
Mount Point [/users]
Mount Automatically At System Restart [yes]
九．建用户
在终端窗口下敲#smitty
在图4所示的主菜单选中Security&Users项在菜单中选中User项，在弹出菜单中选择Add a user，在弹出窗口中填写：

Home Directory :/users/****
Initial Progam :/usr/bin/csh
十．建cdrom的文件系统：
在图4所示主菜单中选中System Storage Management Physical&Logical Storage，再在弹出菜单中选File System，接着在弹出菜单中选中cdrom，在弹出菜单中选Add cdrom File System，接着填入相关信息即可。
